United Nations North Macedonia 2024 Annual Results Report

The UN has been working to achieve the priorities outlined in the 2021-2025 UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework, created jointly with the Government of North Macedonia through expert technical assistance, sustainable capacity development, knowledge exchange, and innovative pilot programs.
 

A total of 18 United Nations agencies, funds, and programmes were engaged in operational activities in North Macedonia in 2024 under the leadership of the UN Resident Coordinator (RC), the designated representative of the UN Secretary-General for development operations in the country. Of these, 12 entities were physically present in the country.
 

The UN team in North Macedonia comprised 269 country- based personnel and support staff alongside international and national experts that were mobilised for the implementation of UN initiatives in the country.
