Wrapping up the first phase of the “Tackling air pollution in the City of Skopje” project

The project is financed by the Government of Sweden and is implemented by UNDP in partnership with the City of Skopje and the Ministry of Environment.
Here are the results: 129 households in the Lisice settlement received assistance to improve the energy efficiency of their homes. They replaced the old stoves and heating stoves with new energy-efficient heating systems. In 81 households, the old doors and windows were replaced with new, energy-efficient ones, 39 new energy-efficient facades were made, 33 roofs have been renovated, 428 inverters installed. Old stoves (37) were replaced with new pellet stoves, 5 heat pumps have been installed.
