Considering that preventing discrimination is key to respecting human rights and to countless important processes in society, including the inclusion and integration of the people under UNHCR mandate, UNHCR signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Commission for Preventing and Protection against Discrimination.

About the event
Both organizations will continue to support the rights of persons under UNHCR mandate in the country, through partnerships in protection, communication, community outreach, and transforming the narrative for asylum seekers, refugees, persons under subsidiary protection, and persons at risk of statelessness. The Commission is committed to responding to cases of discrimination against the POC and will focus on promoting equal treatment for all individuals.
