Our Work on the Sustainable Development Goals in North Macedonia
How the UN is supporting The Sustainable Development Goals in North Macedonia
A total of 18 UN agencies will work together under the new United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (SDCF) over the next five years to help the country achieve the Sustainable Development Goals: 17 interconnected and ambitious goals which address the major development challenges faced by people in North Macedonia and around the world.
The SDCF 2021-2025 is a key strategic document guiding the work of the UN System in North Macedonia, developed in close partnership with the Government of North Macedonia and other stakeholders. The SDCF is aligned with the country’s national development priorities, its international human rights and gender equality commitments, and Agenda 2030. Recognising that EU membership is a key national priority, SDCF also strives to ensure full alignment with the EU accession process.
