The UACS Skopje has already been part of the efforts in helping refugees and asylum seekers through volunteering of their students in the Center for Asylum-seekers and teaching about refugees and their rights, as additional lectures to the curricula.

About the event
This cooperation is in line with UNHCR external engagement strategy of working with multiple higher education institutions to strengthen advocacy and support the sharing of knowledge, as well as raise awareness among students about the respect for human rights and their potential for real positive contribution to society. By working with academia, UNHCR strives towards expanding complementary pathways for refugees and asylum seekers, making sure that they receive the higher education opportunities everyone deserves.
