Development of a National parenting strategy initiated

In cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Health and with the support of the European Union, UNICEF organized two workshops for the development of a National parenting strategy, on 29 and 30 August 2022. Practitioners from the social welfare, education, health and civil society sectors shared experience and provided recommendations, in order to contribute to the development of this document, which represents an important step for the country in providing strategic support for parents. "Providing support to parents means protecting the right of children to grow up in a safe and caring family environment full of love." At the same time, we contribute to the development of human capital, prosperity and security of the country," said Artur Ayvazov, deputy representative of UNICEF in the country.
