About the event
We started a new cycle of workshops focused on #GenderResponsiveBudgeting (GRB), and over the previous three days, we successfully concluded the first module on using gender budgeting as a tool for creating equal opportunities in local policies and programmes. The working sessions were attended by representatives from seven municipalities, including members of intersectoral working groups and the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy.
Workshop attendees were trained on the principles of gender equality, gender-responsive policymaking and budgeting. Group exercises helped participants identify key entry points for implementing gender aspects into local programmes and budgets.
The workshop concluded with positive response from participants, who showed a strong desire to continue learning and apply these principles in their future work. This passion reflects their commitment to promoting positive change and #GenderEquality in their respective working domains.
