About the event

The working sessions in Veles were attended by members of intersectoral working groups from seven municipalities, as well as representatives from the the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy.
Participants were trained to conduct gender analysis of current programmes and to develop gender-responsive local programmes. The group exercises and the experience sharing among attendees them to generate new ideas for gender-responsive measures that municipalities can incorporate into their 2025 programmes and budgets. The training encouraged additional motivation to create measures based on the citizens’ needs that will contribute to the advancement of gender equality in each of the involved municipalities.
