ITU Report on Digital Skills Assessment in North Macedonia

This report is produced by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), in cooperation with the Ministry of Information Society and the Administration of the Republic of North Macedonia, with an aim to determine the current situation with digital skills in North Macedonia.

The scope of the project includes an assessment of basic digital skills in the private sector, start-ups and the education sector, as well as an assessment of current demand for all levels of digital skills across the economy. This assessment excludes analysis of the digital skills in public administration.

The purpose of this report is to assess the current supply and demand of digital skills in North Macedonia and to contribute to the development of a digital skills strategy that will meet citizen needs and contribute to further growth of the digital economy and digital society. The assessment results in a set of explicit and implementable recommendations.
