Under the “Cross-Border Integrated Institutional Approach Towards Combating Illicit Arms Trafficking (IAT) and Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW)” project, UNDP organized two trainings for police officers from North Macedonia and Kosovo.

About the event
A total of 80 police officers from both jurisdictions were trained in two separate sessions, one on Information Gathering, Information Sharing and Information Analysis and the other on Weapon Categorization, Explosives, Community Policing and Intelligence-led Policing. The trainings were aimed at strengthening the capacities of border police, patrolling officers and community police in combatting illicit arms trafficking.
