In the path of making education more equitable, resilient, student centered and support achievement of the SDG 4, UNDPMK partnered with Ministry of Education and Science in promotion (April, 22th) of the first Concept for establishing regional VET centres as an important initial step towards more attractive and efficient VET education. VET reforms will be improved by centralization of investments and concentration of results, as well as promotion of VET innovative models based on good international practices.

UNDP Resident Representative in the country Armen Grigoryan underlined that regional VET centres are envisaged in the 2018-2025 Strategy on Education as a strategic commitment of the Government and the Ministry of Education and Science.
“The Concept is the roadmap for long-term building and development of VET centres across the country with a coordinated approach of various institutions and stakeholders to building modern, efficient and effective educational institutions for vocational education and training that would achieve their purpose”, said Minister of education and science, Jeton Shaqiri.
The Development C The Development Concept for regional vocational education and training centres should help with the advancement of VET centres and their work, as well as with the modernization of the vocational education and training system in the country.
