Celebrate with your heart, not your gun

As part of the activity, police officers from all eight Departments of Internal Affairs in the country talked to the citizens and hand over educational printed material emphasizing the consequences of the celebratory shooting. This campaign is part of the joint project “Cross-Border Integrated institutional Approach Toward Combating Illegal Arms Trafficking and Small Arms and Light Weapons” which UNDP North Macedonia is implementing in close coordination with UNDP Kosovo. The project is implemented as part of the Roadmap for sustainable solutions to the illegal possession, misuse and trafficking of Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW)/firearms and their ammunition in the Western Balkans (Roadmap).
