National workshop on reducing salt intake through nutrition
WHO and the Ministry of Health organized a national workshop to present the Action Plan (2023-2027) on reducing salt intake through diet and discuss further steps for implementation of the plan at national level. The consumption of salt in the adult population in the country is at least double the recommendations for intake and that such a situation, with minimal fluctuations, is continuously maintained over a longer period of time.
