Concluding event for the project “Mapping and management of the Lake Ohrid reed”

On February 24, with the screening of a documentary movie, the project “Mapping and management of the Lake Ohrid reed” has been concluded. This project was implemented in the framework of the ReLOaD2 Programme. The main goal of this local initiative was to addresses the problem of neglecting and uncontrolled destruction of the reeds that are home to numerous endemic fish and bird species and have paramount importance for the biodiversity of the oldest lake in Europe.
