Empowering Roma Women: Addressing Challenges and Advancing Equality
We convened a diverse group of women, men, and representatives from the Roma community and the National Roma Centrum, to address the specific challenges facing Roma women and girls, continue our work to eliminate gender stereotypes and advance their position in society.

About the event
On International Women's Day, we invited women and men, representatives from the Roma community and the National Roma Centrum to discuss specific issues that Roma women and girls face, such as: early marriages, financial dependence and poverty, violence against women, illiteracy, as few of the problems that on daily basis impede advancement and inclusion of Roma women and girls.
