Sub-regional Conference on gender equality in Disaster Risk Reduction Western Balkans & Türkiye

The event brought together key stakeholders, including government representatives, regional experts, and community leaders. Through interactive sessions and panel discussions, participants shared good practices, addressed challenges, and explored opportunities for gender-responsive approaches in DRR and climate resilience initiatives.  The Conference was organized within the project „Improving Resilience to Floods in the Polog Region“, financed by the Government of Switzerland; and with the support of the UNDP in Europe and Central Asia as well as the financial support of the Government of Türkiye.
