Working sessions and a new strategy for advancing gender equality in Gjorche Petrov

Over the last two days, we organized working sessions with members of the Municipality of Gjorche Petrov’s intersectoral working group on gender equality to engage in productive dialogue aimed at ensuring successful implementation of the second municipal Strategy for Advancing Gender Equality. 

Aleksandar Stojkoski, the Mayor of the Municipality of Gjorche Petrov, reaffirmed his commitment to advance gender equality through the creation of gender-responsive local policies and services, as well as by continuously improving quality, safety, and living standards. UN Women continues to be dedicated to this collaboration by offering technical assistance and expertise throughout the newly created municipal strategy’s operationalization process.
