Agro-ecological Atlas of the Republic of North Macedonia

With аgro-ecological zoning, policy-makers can use information on land characteristics such as soil quality, topography, climate, water availability, agricultural land use, yield, and profitability to formulate optimal policies for sustainable agricultural production. Land characteristics can further be evaluated for their production potential, which leads making final recommendations regarding “what” should be grown, and “where” and “how” it should be grown.
