As part of the project „Scaling up actions to tackle air pollution“, event was held in Kavadarci with the mayor of the city, Mitko Janchev, the Ambassador of Sweden, Amy Larsson Jain and the RR of UNDP, Armen Grigoryan where the equipment which was donated to the local inspectorate for environment was presented.

About the event
As part of the project „Scaling up actions to tackle air pollution“, the capacities of the local inspectorates for environment in five municipalities where its being implemented are being enhanced with trainings and donation of equipment.
Each inspectorate chose the items they deemed most urgent, to enable them to carry out their duties most efficiently.
On the 7th of December, the municipality of Kavadarci, where the project is being implemented in addition to Struga, Kumanovo, Gostivar, and Strumica, was visited by the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme and the ambassador of Sweden, Amy Larsson Jain, where they held a meeting with the Mayor Mitko Janchev.
Afterwards, the equipment which was donated by the project was presented in front of the RR of UNDP and ambassador of Sweden and the representatives of the media.
