UN’s Environment Awareness Drawing Contest
Children’s Art Competition
Dear kids and parents,
We are delighted to inform you that this year, UN North Macedonia will be organizing the Children’s Drawing Contest in which children, from the age of 6 and up to the age of 16, from any part of the country, can be part of the UN Environment Awareness Drawing Contest. The idea of this contest is to engage the younger generation in the fight against climate change, raise their awareness when it comes to environmental issues and encourage them to think more on how we all can give our best inputs when it comes to living in a better world, city, and neighborhoods.
The importance of living in healthier environment can best be taught while a person is growing. That is the time when humans’ habits evolve, and implementing these good habits in kids’ behavior, as they grow, is the best way to reach the goal of living in a healthier environment in the future.
Let’s change the future by engaging the youngest. That’s to whom this planet will rely on in the future. So, let’s show everyone that we care, that #ICare.
Applying Date: from 26th of September to 10th of October
Rules: Original drawing in either one of the three categories (1. SDG13 Climate Action, 2. SDG14 Life Below Water, 3. SDG15 Life on Land).
