Our Head of Office, Vesna Ivanovikj-Castarede, and UN Resident Coordinator Rossana Dudziak met with Minister Orhan Murtezani to discuss ongoing collaboration and successes in harmonizing with EU gender standards, including key achievements from the Gender Equality Facility.

Our Head of Office, Vesna Ivanovikj-Castarede, alongside the UN Resident Coordinator Rossana Dudziak and other colleagues had a productive meeting with the Minister of European Affairs, Orhan Murtezani, to discuss partnership and cooperation on harmonization with EU gender acquis.
Our Head of Office highlighted the significant achievements from the #GenderEqualityFacility, as part of the programme on Gender Responsive Governance in collaboration with the Secretariat of European Affairs since 2020. We are proud of the joint results, including:
- The Country Gender Profile and the gender statistics data platform.
- Development and implementation of training modules with the SEA Training Center.
- Expert support and creation of eight thematic guidance notes for SEA and various ministries.
- Conducting gap analyses for Sector Working Groups and other key areas.
- Facilitating experience exchanges and much more.
Minister Murtezani welcomed our ongoing cooperation and its continuation.
Success stories are essential for motivation, and he expressed his enthusiasm to continue the excellent work initiated by UN Women and partner agencies.
