Confirming commitments with the State Audit Office on gender-responsive policies and audits

At a meeting with the State Audit Office, our Head of Office, Vesna Ivanovikj-Castarede together with the Auditor General, Maksim Acevski, confirmed the commitments of both sides, as well as the priorities within our cooperation for the period that follows. The State Auditor, Maksim Acevski referred to the successful cooperation so far and discussed the future joint activities between SAO and UN Women for including the gender perspective in the execution of audits. SAO continuously strives to ensure the visibility of policies that should contribute to the realization and implementation of SDG5, as a credible UN Women partner that is dedicated to promoting gender audit and inclusion of gender aspects in the main policies.
