30 Years of UNDP in North Macedonia: A journey of partnership and progress

Marking 30 successful years of UNDP in North Macedonia, this milestone was celebrated through events held across all planning regions of the country, culminating in Skopje, to honor the partners and municipalities that have been part of UNDP’s journey over the past three decades. Reflecting on the path ahead, UNDP Resident Representative Armen Grigoryan said: “UNDP is your UNDP. We are here to serve, to listen, and to act, but we cannot do it alone. When we join forces across the public and private sectors, civil society, and academia, we create solutions that last and futures that are fairer, greener, and more inclusive.” Over the past 30 years, UNDP has worked closely with national institutions, local communities, civil society, academia, the private sector, and international partners to advance sustainable development, strengthen resilience, and improve the quality of life for people across North Macedonia.
