We gathered public officials from ministries and state institutions at the Resource Center for Gender Responsive Policy Making and Budgeting to introduce a new training module on integrating a gender perspective into strategic planning.

Throughout the training on integrating a gender perspective into strategic planning, public officials explored:
- What it truly means to apply a gender perspective, and how it improves the quality and impact of public policies.
- Why gender mainstreaming is not “extra work,” but a practical tool that leads to smarter, more inclusive, and more effective decisions.
- Concrete reasons and examples showing why every institution benefits from designing gender-responsive policies, programmes, and projects.
The strong engagement and commitment shown by participants reaffirm that strengthening gender-responsive policymaking and budgeting is essential for building fairer, more effective, and more accountable institutions that work for everyone.
