The 2nd Advanced Thematic Forum on International Refugee Protection: Protection of Women and Children Displaced by Armed Conflict is organized by the Refugee Law and Migration Center at the Iustinianus Primus Law Faculty, UNHCR Representation in North Macedonia and IIHL Sanremo-Department of International Refugee Law and Migration Law.

The Forum will bring together academic experts and practitioners in the protection of refugee women and children displaced by conflict and 35 participants from 21 countries from Europe, Asia, and Africa. The topics for discussion will be related to raising awareness about obstacles and best practices to access protection for women and children displaced by armed conflict, how conflict affects women and children, and how international (humanitarian, human rights, refugee) law protects them when affected by conflict.
