Launching the development of the new National Strategy on Land Consolidation 2022-2030

The event is organized by FAO under the EU-FAO project ‘’Enhancing Land Consolidation in North Macedonia’’. The objective of the event is to formally introduce the development of the new National Land Consolidation Strategy for 2022-2030. The Strategy will outline specific objectives for the application of a land consolidation instrument in North Macedonia to support more efficient and resilient farm structures over the next decade. The event will provide a platform for key stakeholders to gain a deeper understanding of the initiative and the process involved. Participants include government officials and representatives from relevant institutions comprising the National Permanent Advisory Group on Land Consolidation (including Agency for Real Estate Cadastre, National Extension Agency, Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning, Ministry of Transport and Communications, academia, civil society organizations (CSOs), and other stakeholders with an interest in land consolidation). Additionally, the event will be attended by farmers’ organizations, private geodetic companies and representatives of the media.
