Five day training in Greece for swift water and flood rescue for the members of fire brigades from Tetovo and Gostivar and the directorate for

 In cooperation with the Hellenic Fire Corps and the Embassy of Greece in North Macedonia , from the 27th of November till 1st of December, special training for swift water rescue and floods rescue was carried out for 13 members of Fire Brigades from Tetovo and Gostivar and the protection and rescue directorate.

„By enhancing the capabilities of the preparedness team, we are alleviating the possible consequences of floods in Polog“ – said the Resident Representative of the UNDP in North Macedonia, Armen Grigoryan, during the closing session of the training. 

The training in the vicinity of the Greek city Ioannina was done as part of the „Improving resilience to floods in Polog region“.
