Journalist Awards for Professional Reporting on Refugees and Statelessness

UNHCR, together with the partner organization Macedonian Young Lawyers Association and the Association of Journalists of Macedonia, for the ninth year in a row, presented the awards for professional reporting about the situation of refugees, asylum seekers, and stateless persons. This year, three female journalists, Jasmina Jakimova, Elena Pavlovska Dokovska and Valmira Zendeli, won the first three prizes, covering both asylum and statelessness in their stories.
