UN Women empowering LSGUs with gender-responsive budgeting tools

Twenty participants from nine local self-government units (LSGUs) have successfully completed the third module of our #GenderResponsiveBudgeting (GRB) programme. Through hands-on collaboration, participants have deepened their understanding of developing gender-sensitive indicators and measuring impactful results. With this final module, they have gained valuable insights and tools to incorporate GRB into local policymaking and budgeting. 

By engaging the participants in proactive discussions, we highlighted the crucial role of intersectoral cooperation and the need for ensuring meaningful municipal participation of women in local decision-making, data gathering, and analysis. 
We are committed to mentoring this amazing group to become champions of gender mainstreaming in their municipalities. We continue driving positive change together!
