Under the “Just(ice) children – EU for juvenile and child-friendly justice” initiative funded by the EU, a workshop on establishment of children’s houses model was held in August. The Children’s Houses model (Barnahus) provides services for child victims and witnesses—including judicial (forensic) interviews, medical examinations, treatment, prevention, advice and guidance, professional development, information—under one roof, thus protecting children from further re-traumatization and revictimization. Tailored to the country context, the model aims to ensure that every child that has been a victim or a witness receives appropriate protection, security, support and treatment. https://www.facebook.com/unicef.mk/posts/pfbid02uJeULNwBcuw58DeqYAzPvrygfUb8cJ86s7A6F9dk1UKjzDR3LpPfkp5fN49SfUf7l
